Captain Chris offers several types of fishing charters.  If you are not sure what
type to choose, give the captain a call and he will discuss it with you.
All
charters are catch, photograph and release only for redfish, trout, and
snook.

Flats Fishing Charters - The waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River
near Orlando are along Florida's Space Coast offer something for everyone.
Located near Orlando, it is an easy drive from anywhere in central Florida. No
prior experience is necessary. The captain will provide all bait, tackle, and
licenses. You can request to target a specific species or simply go after
whatever is biting. Check out my Central Florida
seasonal fishing patterns page
to see what is available. If you simply want a day of fun and relaxation away from
the hustle and bustle of Orlando and the attractions, this is for you.

Sight fishing Charters - Designed for the experienced angler, your captain will
silently pole you in the clear grass flats of the
Mosquito Lagoon or the Indian
or
Banana River Lagoons in East Central Florida while you cast to redfish
and trout you can see. Quick accurate casts are required. The more you
practice your casting, the better your success. Seasonally, you may also wish to
experience fishing for snook under the docks and mangroves or fighting tarpon,
the silver king, along the beaches or in various canals, creeks and rivers. For
the fly angler, your captain will put you in the right position for you to be able to
land what may be the fish of a lifetime. Charters may begin in Titusville, Cocoa
Beach, New Smyrna Beach, or Sebastian depending on your request or type of
fishing to be done. All ramps used are within one hour of the
Orlando area.

Instructional Charters - If you are a beginner or have limited fishing
experience but are eager to learn more, this trip is for you. The captain will
guide you through the day where you will learn how to rig tackle, catch bait, cast,
fight and release fish, read the water, and much more. He will show you how to
catch various types of fish with and without your own boat. You will learn how to
hunt and catch fish in Mosquito Lagoon or throughout central Florida instead of
sitting back and waiting for them to come to you.

All charters are done from a clean and well maintained Hewes flats skiff. You will
be provided with quality tackle spooled with braided line or you may choose to
bring your own. All lures, bait, and licenses are provided by the captain. It is
recommended you bring a hat, polarized glasses, sunscreen, non marking
soft-soled shoes, and your favorite food and beverage.

Fly Fishing Instruction - Capt. Chris is one of the few FFF Certified Casting
Instructors in central Florida. Whether you are a complete beginner or simply
want to improve your fly casting skills, Capt. Chris can help. From individual
casting lessons to comprehensive saltwater fly fishing instruction, there is
something for everyone. Call or email with your goals and objectives.

In addition the  great fishing, the waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian
River offer excellent opportunities to view various types of
wildlife. In the winter
months, the Mosquito Lagoon is full of water and wading birds including
spoonbills, ibis, brown and white pelicans, herons, ospreys, and more. You may
also encounter manatee, porpoise, sea turtles, alligators, stingrays, otters, and
other animals during your trip. The variety of wildlife makes the trip enjoyable for
the fisherman and non-fisherman alike. Click
here to go to the wildlife page of
my site. Non-fishing eco/photography tours are also available for up to 3 people.

A deposit of $100 is due at least five days prior to your charter date. The

the form of cash, money order, or personal check. In the event of poor weather,
your deposit will be fully refunded or applied to a reschedule date. Cancellations
not related to weather must me made at least seven days prior to your charter
