I offer professional fly casting instruction and fly fishing lessons in
the Orlando area to individuals and small groups. Whether you
want to fish the saltwater flats or freshwater lakes, rivers, and
streams, knowing how to make a proper cast will help you catch
more fish. Fly anglers of all skill levels will benefit from formal
lessons and independent analysis.
I am a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Fly Casting Instructor.
To obtain this certification, candidates not only pass a rigorous
testing procedure to analyze their casting skill,they must
demonstrate the ability to teach these skills to others.
Mosquito Creek Outdoors in Apopka is minutes north of Orlando
where I will be teaching monthly classes. Every other month will
be a free Introduction to Fly Fishing class. The other months will
be a 4 hour Fly Casting course limited to 6 participants. This class
will cost $75 and will have both classroom and hands on
instruction. This is a huge savings over private lessons but the
class is small enough that each student gets personal attention.

Personal fly casting lessons are offered on an hourly basis at
$50/hr. I recommend no more than one hour of instruction per
session with several weeks of practice time between. Personal fly
fishing lessons are offered in the Orlando area. Contact me for
information on group lessons outside Orlando.

formation, accuracy, hauling and shooting line, overcoming the
wind, and specialty casts.
